Position

Senior Odoo Developer

Location: Remote (Work From Home)

Experience: 4–8 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement custom Odoo modules based on business requirements.
• Customize and enhance existing Odoo applications to meet client-specific needs.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Odoo and third-party applications using REST APIs, JSON-RPC, XML-RPC, and other integration methods.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, project managers, and clients to understand business processes and prepare technical solutions.
• Analyze business workflows and design scalable ERP solutions using Odoo.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing Odoo implementations.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers by following Odoo development best practices.
• Conduct unit testing and support system integration testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Provide technical support, maintenance, and performance optimization for deployed Odoo systems.
• Maintain proper technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Skills

• 4–8 years of professional experience in Odoo development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and the Odoo Framework (ORM, Models, Wizards, APIs, Security, Workflows).
• Excellent knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Strong experience with XML, QWeb Reports, Views, Actions, Menus, and Odoo Architecture.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript, OWL (preferred), HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Strong understanding of Linux environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in direct client communication and requirement gathering.
• Strong understanding of business processes across Sales, CRM, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing, Accounting, HR, and Projects.
• Experience with Odoo.sh and AWS deployments.
• Experience in integrating third-party applications and payment gateways.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices is an added advantage.
• Ability to mentor junior developers and participate in technical architecture discussions.
